Please shut gates........

It looks like it has happened again. I have often come across gates in the New Forest left open when they should be kept closed. People open them - wander through and then simply don't bother to close them.

The danger this presents is all to obvious - but not to some idiots it seems

A WOMAN is fighting for life after a car crash on the A35 near Christchurch.

The vehicle she was travelling in hit a pony, who died at the scene of the collision.

Police believe the pony had escaped onto the road through an insecure gate that may have been left open by a member of the public.

its the first country code....you open a gate, you shut it.
