In an ICE dilema
I have a problem.
I currently have a harmony head unit on my 75. I never listen to tapes, so the tape deck is never used. I had thought to upgrade to a symphony unit and CD changer but again why pay for a tape deck that I will never use. Are there any straight single play CD/ radio units that A) look good ( ie not lots of fancy lights etc that B) are compatible with steering wheel controls. Thanks for the help |

I've just bought one of these from Halfords today, not had it fitted yet, as they have to order an adaptor. I did a deal at £170 fitted, and that incudes the adaptors for the steering wheel controls. With a usb port on the front, I can plug in my mp3 player and forget the cd changer in the boot.

The CD80 FM/AM RDS Radio CD single disc player was fitted as standard later on, and available cheaply on EBay, also a MP3 version, (have one in the R600)
But if I remember correctly there were reports of problems with this unit not that I have seen any. |
