Default Wanted two Retaining clips.( BRAKES)

Hi i need the Retaining clip for the front brake. The rear one is also missing. These are the clips that hold the pad indicator wire.I did try Rimmers with no luck they said the clips come with the brake pads.My pads are like brand new so i only need the two clips. I will be happy to pay for the clips and any postage.

Hi Ian,

Sorry for being a bit slow on this but which clip? Changed my pads and sensor recently. The sensor clips into the pad and is secured by the sides of the sensor. for the cable, I just used cable ties to secure in place?

Hi
My mate did a full service on my 75 yesterday ( mechanic for 37 years). Told me to get a Brake Pad Indicator wire with retaining clip.I thought you pull off the conector on the brake pad and there is its retaining clip.

Hi Ian,

The brake sensors have the retaining clip built in. It is a small flexible piece of metal that follows the profile of the sensor. Simply pushes in to the pad and secures itself.

Hi. I also need the 2 rear brake caliper clips for a 190+. They are the metal clips that clip straight on to the outside of the caliper and hold everything in place. Anyone got any idea where to get them from and thier proper name? Marcus.

Default Still Searching

Hi. After months of searching I am still short of 2 rear brake caliper spring clips/anti-rattle springs/spring retainers. Still not sure of their proper name. They are the metal spring clips which fit onto the calipers and hold everything tight stopping any movement of the caliper and therefore any annoying rattle. If anybody knows where I might be able to get these from please please let me know. It is driving me insane!
p.s they are for a 01 ZT 190+
Thankyou in advance.
Marcus.
