Hope it's an easy fix Andy. You were blowing some blue smoke when you left Nene park, no more than at the last team meet at Gaydon though.

Something was causing that Blue smoke....but it still sounded great leaving meet.

Just had a quick chat with Ralph and the report is the exhaust camshaft snapped
so what do you think rebuild or a 2nd hand engine ? |

Bad news sorry to hear about that Andy. .
Does depend on cost, but a Good secondhand engine might be best. Any advice from Ralph on preference? Would the 2.5 drop into there? |

My advice would be replacement engine. We have not yet taken the head off, so there is likely to be valve and piston damage as well. We are certainly looking at a replacement head on the front bank, minimum.
