I spoke to Ralph a few days ago,

I have made the decision not to get her fixed, i feel the money it would of cost me to get her back on the road would of been to much and taking in to account the other bits and pieces that she needed doing to smarten her up.

So once i have spoken to Ralph and got the car returned to me i will be looking to recoup some of the money i have spent on her over the years but selling off some of her treasures.

I would just like to thanks Ralph,Andy and the lads down at EMS for they help.

So what to buy now!

If you want to sell the premium bumper from the car I probably have a buyer with cash waiting...

I will be keeping the chrome grill to either fit to my next car or to pass on to a long time member/friend who from the day i got it has always wanted to be 1st on the list if i ever sold it.

For the record, Kandyman, can you tell us the full extent of the damage that results from a broken camshaft ? Did the pistons and valves have a fight ?
Shame to see one of the 2.0 litre v6's leave the road , but good luck with your new one

There is obvious damage to the crown of one piston and several bent valves.
