Default Getting ready for Roverfest.

I gave my ZT-T a thorough wash, polish and Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection today ready for Roverfest next Sunday.

I then gave the engine bay and interior a detail, has anyone else starting prepping their 75, ZT or ZT-T for Roverfest?

Looking good as always Clyde.

I gave my baby a thorough pampering a few weeks ago in readiness for a show at Clandon, so she doesn't need much. I'll get the wheels off on Friday to clean the backs again, and have another go around the engine bay and door shuts, but that should be it for Roverfest.

Hopefully we'll have some good weather on Sunday.

Cliff

Thanks Cliff, I gave my ZT-T a thorough going over this weekend, so it should only need a light clean before Roverfest next Sunday.

Hopefully the weather will be good and I look forward to seeing you next Sunday.

Regards

Not happy!

Took the front off side wheel off this morning to spruce up the wheel arch and clean the wheel back. Didn't really need doing, but with Roverfest coming up, I want her to look her best. cleaned everything up and gave the tyre sidewall a good clean, finishing off with some tyre dressing. Nice. Decided to leave the other wheel 'till a nicer day so started to pack everything away. PIcked up the trolley jack, carried it through the side door of the car port. The door swung shut behind me, hit the back of the trolley jack, and knocked it into the front wing of my Baby. Net result: big chunk of paint taken out of the front wing. It looks awful.

Really, really wish I had left it 'till Friday as I had planned.

Yup, you could say that. Lots of swearing was involved.

As it happens, the car is booked into a bodyshop in a weeks time to fix a couple of longstanding stone chips, so it just means the bill will be somewhat higher than I was originally expecting. Just kicking myself that I wasn't more careful carrying the trolley jack past the car.

Oh well, lesson learned I suppose.

Happy days! Just picked my Baby up from the bodyshop and as expected they have done a first class job. No sign of the stone chips and small dents and everything looking factory fresh.

Big thank you to Medcalfes for taking care of things.

Sorry to hear that Cliff, that is a real choker, still coming to the Roverfest.
