Default Subwoofer woes

Hi All.
I just fitted the HK wiring loom I got from MGStephen to Mo.
I have a CD-80.
I plugged the original brown and grey connectors into the large black connector on the HK loom, then the HK looms brown and grey connectors into the back of the head.
I snipped the steering wheel control wires off the old yellow/blue/green connector, and fastened them to the new y/b/g connector.
The steering wheel controls work, The CD changer works, radio works, sound from all speakers, but no sound from the sub.
So what do I do next?
Thank you

Been looking at some videos.
Is there a secret menu on the cd-80 that will add a subwoofer on/off option?
Thank you.

I havent done this, but you dont mention an amp. To run the sub, you would need this connected. If it is, is there power going to it, and it switching on with the stereo?

Sorry, should've said.
Yes there is an amp, but no idea if it's switching on. There is now a click in the speakers when I put the stereo on, which wasn't there before I did this, but there isn't a light on the amp to say it's working.

I've read the sticky, and it talks about snipping and reconnecting wires.
Don't know if that is what I need to do.

EDIT - also, I have used all the connectors that were on the HK loom except the steering wheel controls one. I used the old wires added to the new block for that, so nothings missing

Check that there is a switched output connected to pin 5 of the grey ISO connector - it is the feed to the amp & sub.

Thanks. I know there's one empty pin, I'll see if I can find out which number it is. If not, I'll take a piccie.
