Morning all.

Been missing for a few days as took SWMBO & MIL down to St Mawes to scatter FIL's ashes. The weather was kind on the day and all was very quiet and peaceful.

The weather wasn't kind on the way down or the way back . Bob, I now see what you've been up against these last few weeks. The combination of torrential rain and those twisty Cornish roads made it hard work. Particularly as we were in MIL's Ford Focus not the Tourer. A 1.0 Ecoboost engine isn't the best I've driven behind and the idiot gear change indicator I'd have to find a way of switching off as it's distracting and wrong - unless you like the feeling that the bottom end of the lump is trying to destroy itself while still telling you to change up while going uphill .

Quizzie had a magnificent time, obviously, with beaches, sea and rivers to play in. .

Late home last night so missed the Nano Social but had fish & chips from our preferred chippy. Always lovely fish from there - beautiful .

Sorry Andy that we didn't meet up. We'll get together another time.

Take care everyone.

I was meant to cut all three of the grass today, after it rained almost every day last week.
But get what? It was dry this morning but the roofs and shed roofs were wet and all the grass will need either late today or tomorrow if the sun comes out.

Hi Rich, I was going to do the same thing myself but the grass is still too wet for the mower. My petrol mower has returned from a family member with a bone dry tank

I've been tasked with cleaning the conservatory windows & patio doors inside & out with the scrim, It's still overcast here but very warm & opening the horizontal blinds to clean the inside windows reveals just how much heat they reduce It's roasting in here with them open. Soon be time for a cold Henry's at this rate.

I’ve been to Newcastle today, and was sunny for the day but when I came home the grass was still a bit wet . I will get it done in the morning then unless my friend comes in the early morning.

Cool

Got the grass cut today.

Gammon rasher, pots, corn on the cob and peas for tea.

Might have a shandy later.

Morning all.

Overcast but quite bright and dry here.

Off for more furry frolics later and then I need to give a Ford Focus a wash .

About to put the washing out. At least I won't have soaking wet feet today as managed to cut it yesterday. A bit like Rich it was still properly wet well into the afternoon.

Take care everyone.
