That looked delicious and tasty.

Last evening two ambulances and two crews attended to bring Jessica home from hospital and to carry her up 4 floors to get to our little flat at the top and no lift.

It was unsuccessful and Jessica had to be taken back to hospital where she spent last night.

The problem was the bed height adjustment feet could not be fitted to the King Size bed in the bedroom, so the ambulance crews ran out of time waiting for a hospital bed to be delivered, so they had to take Jessica back to the orthopaedic ward she came from.

Last evening, a hospital bed arrived, it was brought up the stairs and assembled, fully electric recline and height adjustable via a remote control.

The plan is for Jessica to be discharged this morning with the 2 ambulance crews again to bring her up the stairs carrying her on a vacuum mattress scoop and then transferred onto the bed. They will not allow her to walk up the stairs in case she gets stuck or dislocates her new hip, which makes sense.

A couple of photos from yesterday……

Morning all, this afternoon I have a check up with the doctor who filled my part of the head that finally made both size the same size.
I never realise you’d had eye trouble Jeff, that must be better feeling you that it’s working properly.
Hope Jessica had a better peaceful night now at home Phil, and for you too now she’s back from hospital.

Morning all, Overcast & dry at the minute but looking at the weather forecast it's not going to last long.

Morning Phil what an ordeal for Jessica, I'm glad it's been sorted out with an NHS bed.

The first ripe tomatoes of the year sliced on hot buttered toast for brekkie this morning.

Just home, well a coffee ago, from getting a retinopathy. I can still see the bright circles when I close my eyes.

Later: Master plan was to do a bit of weeding at the front when I got back but the rain arrived the same time as I did and hasn't stopped.

Still raining quite heavily here with lots of standing water around. The level is not far off getting into the garage again
