Alternatively using TOAF you can simply turn the light off 🙂

Well I found the problem




The broken sections has been cut out, with the wires soldered and heat shrink over each wire and then more over all.
Pleased


While I was there I checked here:

Oh dear more work.

Cruise Control; FBH with GSM (was FrenchMike's Remote) & dash button; Rear Blind; In-line Thermostat; wired in front & rear cameras; Mercedes DRL +DRL2; twin horns, twin usb power outlets, digital coolant temperature readout, Real Walnut dash, Walnut & black leather steering wheel, Towbar with full Rover harness.
Rear seat cup holders.


Mods to do: all done , need to come up with some more.

Oh dear more work.
Undo two difficult bolts to get at.-- Apply soap and knock the housing off the lower suspension arm.
Will take a fair bit of fiddling about to replace the two bolts.

That one is beyond me, on the drive, so will be going to our local 'Edd China'

Trikey replaced both of mine with the car on the ground and it took an hour or so as one of them struggled to come off.

As Brian has said, unplug the “blanking plug” that I fitted, fit a new wear sensor and all will be well, there is no break from the black plug to the main wiring loom.
