Aircraft whose/what
Large, wide body type military transport jet type with yellow markings on the tail. Wheels seemed as if they would pop out of the fuselage, rather than the wings. It flew quite low over Pyle in south Wales around 12:00 today and seemed to remain in the area for quite some time.
What and whose was it?

Thanks to suzublu and here's an RAF example. It's a C-17 Globemaster and is the only wide body jet transport in use by the RAF.

I can't think of a single military wide body jet transport that has the horizontal stabilizer at the bottom of the vertical stabilizer - although I must confess that I don't know all the aircraft types in current use.
The RAF often paints tails to celebrate certain occasions and this year marks the 100th anniversary of 99 squadron which operates the Globemaster, so maybe that would account for the yellow markings.

I wonder if it might have been Russian, Chinese or similar aircraft?
