Bizarre problem
Hi: I have purchased a 2005 ZT CDTI 135 but the horn did not work. On taking off the front bumper there are no horns to be seen nor any wiring. Is there anywhere else they could be lurking. Any help in solving this mystery appreciated.

Thanks for that. That's where they should be but appear in absentia - very odd.

A 2005 model will (should) have only one horn on the RHS as you look at it. Still odd though.
A chance to fit something like this, they save a lot of embarrassment from the single tooter. Click: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Twin-...gAAOSwQupXV9fc TC Last edited by T-Cut; 14th March 2018 at 17:47.. |

Well, de-horned, that should be pretty obvious!

The matrix was stone cold so I suspected a blockage. Traced the pipework from the engine bay and found the inlet and outlet hoses had been cut 2 inches in and joined together. Removed the matrix, tested it and lo and behold it leaked like a sieve! Quick trip to the local scrappy for a matrix and hoses and all was well. |

I would never have used my Mk2's horn in a public place. The MOT test was bad enough.
