Here's another take on German engineering.

550BHP in standard from, 880BHP with Brabus tuning.

Remember - they still have (own) a car design and manufacture industry!

I always thought they were purely a marketing thing. I doubt any of the owners cared one way or another or even noticed

I have to confess that I find the Jaguar XF far more appealing at the rear with two pipes (on the V6) than one (on the straight 4) diesels. The pipe on one side just does not suit the XF and could actually be a make/break situation insofar as the 2.2D is concerned when I come to buy one.

I wish JLR had fitted a fake one. The bumper is moulded around the pipe so fitting an aftermarket one will not look right.

Ever heard of the doctrine ' speak softly and carry a big stick', if you have IT, you don't have to show IT, don't join the morons of this world, already they out-number us by 000000s to 1!. Stay cool as they say.
