Default Anyone else get a Parking Ticket?

The last Ugly Duckling breakfast meet 15th September - I have just received a parking charge from Euro Car Parks.

Needless to say I won't be paying it.

Is there a parking machine there now? They seem to be popping up everywhere.

Apparently it is now all camered up Bob, and I outstayed my welcome enjoying chatting to fellow owners after a fine repast.

A quick phone call to the restaurant has sorted it though.

I'll check next time I visit - probably have to enter the car registration as they did say it was all clearly signposted.

You know how it is when you are running both late and hungry; park up and get stuck in.

I personally would not use the Ugly Duckling again. A bad experience is a bad experience which I never revisit regardless of the venue as it is never the same again for me at least. It would just remind me of ... well, a bad memory ... and I doubt that I would be able to relax and enjoy the moment as before. Plus there would be the nagging doubt in the back of my mind of could it/will it happen again. Nah, once bitten twice shy for me.

They have a "station" just inside in the lobby where you need to enter your reg number on arrival. Once done, you're set for the day.

On Sunday, the manageress (can't recall her name) kindly popped out and reminded us all before we went in, but this was before you arrived Mike.

Glad you got it sorted .

My view exactly, once you have a bad experience with any service, no matter what!, that is it, it will never be the same again, and things cannot move on, so I always go elsewhere.
