Give Mickyboy a shout, even if it means having the car recovered to his workshop.
Messing around with high pressure rail fittings on a common rail diesel is extremely dangerous, the pressure generated when a car is being cranked by the HP pump is circa 2200 PSI ! I cannot stress enough the danger involved. You can find Mick HERE Brian |

Wow all fixed
hi guys a very big thank you to all for info and help. i just got a delivery of a new cam sensor, and boom first crank of the engine from cold it has fired up and running sweet, i have ran about for 30 minutes heated car up and i keep going out to start her and no problems,.
so cam sensor was at fault, i checked all plenum and ecu, no water no tide marks all clear. i love this car and want to keep her going, i dont have a lot of money to spend on her and she is used daily. so i do nearly all the work myself, so i have learned alot from the good guys on her and the guides and advise you put on. so big thanks, once all this lock down is over i will try get to some meets |

Hi George,
Wow from me too! Beginner's luck obviously (post no. 10) but I'm glad that you've fixed it and thanks for taking the time to post the result. Simon
