Here you can heard the problem. I have the same.
The engine start and sometimes not. http://www.nottinghamjazz.co.uk/test/Roverstart.mp3 Edit: a fuel pipe next to the battery is damaged ( the clips is broken). Last edited by Shuriken_57; 2nd March 2021 at 14:58.. |

If the starter motor is turning the engine at a good speed then no.
Have you checked the running temperature by activating the instrument pack's digital display? Simon

Yes. The temperature sensor works well. I'm using an obd diagnostic interface ( and the ipk diagnostic too).

It's a long shot but the reason I asked about the running temperature was in case the underbonnet temperature is high. This once caused vaporisation in the fuel lines of one of my cars which prevented starting from hot, sometimes. Does that sound familiar? Your IPK diagnostics should be showing a temperature in the low nineties when the car is moving. Does it? Simon

The problem is where the leak is (if there is one). The temperature is around 90 degrees when the car moving( between 85 and 90). I will check fuel lines tomorrow. Thanks for your helps . |

Hello, I checked everything today and I don’t know if there is a fuel leak.
Do you have any other ideas? After 5 minutes I have to force it to start, it starts hard and then the engine speed stabilizes. I have to push the accelerator at the same time. I changed the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor. It’s really annoying.:hausser les épaules: |

Hello, today I stalled on the highway. Yet I still have 11 litres left in the fuel tank. The vehicle stalled and I stopped on my side.
What do you think? fuel pump? fuel gauge? With the ipk test, the tank contained 11 litres. I put back 15 litres of fuel and it restarted. This may be related to my hot start issues. Thanks for your help, I’m lost. |
