Default walking and stunning views

wife and I love walking, open views, valleys and hills on a sunny day, sheep on the road, wonderful.

Yorkshire, leaving Lancliffe off of the B6479 is a single track road running "North East", taking it in an arc to Malham, wonderful open views with many places to stop and walk. You can see for miles on a clear day.

We went for an hour and a halves walk and did not pass anyone else.

Totally agree,i am fortunate to live within walking distance of wonderful views.
As for sheep on the road, they are natures answer to traffic calming around here.

I work in Skipton so am well aware of the area you are talking about.
I am going to Coniston in the lakes next week and can't wait 🙂. You can't beat being away from it all and in a stunning location.
Enjoy yourself.

We love Yorkshire, we been going all over the moors for more than 20 years, it is a great place, lovely people etc etc, how we miss it sometimes, we would stay in Haworth and go from there, God's country.......

We have been walking part of the Wainwright coast-to-coast in Yorkshire over the last week - very enjoyable. We hope to go back next year to complete the walk over the North York moors to Robin hood's Bay. There are some pictures on a blog that we run on our cottage website:

Cheers
