Default What will happen to the three pointed star!!!

More turmoil in the motoring world, Since the recent Mercedes-Daimler Benz company split who will get to use the three pointed star brand symbol!!!

It's heading to the courts as only one company will be able to use it

Finally the great German car industry going to the even greater poo heap, that is what happens eventually to all.
Mercedes Benz USED to make grear, great cars, believe me my family had them since the 50s, alas no longer the case, ever complicated, expensive to buy, to run to service, unreliable the list is endless, need to go back to basics, stop manufacturing outside Germany, including parts, simplify simplify.

Totally agree, cars now are far to complicated. They come with loads of extras which most never use and more dont even know that they are there

That is certainly true in my case. No to electrical assisted seats (both for adjusting and heating - us northerners are real men).
Yes to power-fold mirrors and SatNav! Probably also to integrated ICE/Comms. Anti-lock brakes, air-bags and a decent diff are a must.

abs and airbags are like insurance, you hope you never need them.
Cant recall the last time my saloon abs kicked in but I think it has, my Tourer just the once.

I believe air-bags are date dependent?

That's because you're a "gentle foot man" and never had a maniac coming from the right at a round-a-bout or a Micra driver in front.

Things like different speed wipers that also go faster and slower depending on the speed of the car.

I just want them off or on.----
