Default Central Locking

2001 75 Tourer Club 2.0 CDT Auto. Using the fob all doors lock ok but drivers door does not unlock..... unlocks with key so not a huge problem but as I would like to sell the car I wonder if anyone has any ideas and can it be fixed easily.

Door actuator probably needs to be replaced. There is a how to on the forum somewhere if you use the search box.

Yes it's the driver's door actuator that causes this, have had to change quite a few of these over the years including two on my own cars.

I just had this issue, but with the added problem of the manual key also not working. A new actuator fixed it. I've never changed an actuator before, but after reading many forum posts, I felt able to DIY.
If you do decide to go ahead and get stuck, there are many on the forum who will help you out if they can see you 're genuinely trying.
Removing the door card is easy (once you know how like everything else!) Allow yourself plenty of time, and take pictures on your phone of anything you might forget on re-assembly. It's not too bad a job, just a bit fiddly at times.

Just watch out that you don't miss out the "dogs bone" connection between the left and right twist action for the key in the manual lock and the actuator, when aligning the actuator in position. Plenty of white grease (spray lube) on all the moving parts also helps.
