Anyone recommend a DVD ripper ?
As title, i'm looking for dvd ripper software to finish off converting my dvd's for use on streaming boxes I use.
I used to have Magic DVD ripper but since rebuild i've lost the key for it and it was pretty old. Ideally a free one. Tried some, but so many on cnet etc are full of Malware or trials that cut after 10mins. So anyone recommend. I only wish to convert to mpg or avi really and don't need bluray (yet). Cheers Geraint. |

Try Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/). I haven't used it under Windows but on Linux it's pretty awesome and can rip pretty much anything I've thrown at it. I've even written a little script so that on my Linux based Plex box I can just put a DVD in, it then automatically rip's it and then spits it back out when done and it's then just available in Plex to play!
