Default LED lights yet again!! sorry.

OK I know there are many post regarding these lights, and I have searched them all, what I need friends is a very basic explanation, with diagram even better! as to how one wires them up, To be wired so that they come on whenever the engine is started, and to go off when side/headlights go on, Hope this makes sense, and please remember I know zilch about car wiring, thanks.

I thought of changing the interior lighting to led's but I'm liking the more ambient feel to the original set up...just hope I don't relax too much behind the wheel...

...dark skies and rainstorms aren't all bad!

How's your plug hole Parker? Checked my rubber bung and its all nice and dry down there

Why do you want led's on when the lights are off Mike? Pray tell kind sir...and post some flippin' pics like the man said!!!

Keef, I have half a dozen wedge type interior led bulbs on order from Hong Kong.
When they arrive you can have a look and see what you think when they're fitted

I have no idea whether they'll fit or be any use at all, but for £2.97 delivered for 6 I thought I'd risk it

eBay link

I bought a pair of number plate bulbs a week or two ago and I'm impressed with them, very bright. They're the same smd type, so hopefully I'll be as impressed with these.

I'll report back on suitability once they've arrived (usually 2-3 weeks).

Might as well ask your dog, Obviously the wiring must be so top secret that not even Smarties know.
