It isn't about making a fuss. It is about getting the treatment you require and are entitled to. If it has reached the point where it affects your everyday life and well-being then you owe it to yourself to see what can be done.

Is this something your doctor does or do you have to go and see a specialist person?

Thanks, I will look into this. I always thought your GP/doctor was for if you were ill. I'm not ill as such.

I'd certainly hold a bit more faith in that kind of Chinese remedy, rather than any that involve the ground down endangered species or cut a tiny bit off and throw the rest away malarky!

What? eh!! I never even thought about that! There had certainly better not be any animals endangered or otherwise in the things I've been given I will google the ingriedients. If there is I will not be best pleased.

It's not just the endangered species, I like to think products are supplied through the Fair Trade policy, I'd hate to think that the was someone (like a child) was working for 7 pence a week.

I have used alternative therapies since falling ill, Reiki blew me away, I have also began to put my trust into Stones & Crystals. To get to my shop in Tamworth, you have to walk through a Holistics shop, there they have 2 Amethyst Cathedrals that stand over 7 feet tall. You can actually feel the positive tranquil energy that they give off. Its strange but they are a beautiful piece of nature that had lay undiscovered for millions of years.

Wierd!!! I just googled Amethyst Cathedral 7ft only to be greeted by his website at the top of the list...An educational description.....

I'm a bit embarrassed by this but I seem to have some kind of OCD. This takes form most prominantly in my job. For example, doing a service or repair, or even switching off and locking up the workshop is a bit of a repetitive exercise. I find myself repeating myself and doing the same thing sometimes dozens of times. Sometimes I feel like I'm going mad.
Anyway, clutching at straws and feeling very stupid I thought I'd give these Chinese things a go. I have been given rose flower buds that go in hot water and you drink it. That isn't very pleasant and some tablets that look like rabbit droppings.
Could it be the line of work your in? I find myself re-torqueing wheels even though i know i have all ready done them, there are other instances wher i check things many times and i put it down to the fact that if a mistake is made somebody else could be hurt by our actions. As for locking up the workshop, I also check more than once, again i just put this down to the fact that it isn't my property but i'm responcible for making it secure. Some of my colleagues say I have ocd, maybe it's a technician thing?
