Load cover unit not locking into place
The load cover unit ( not the horizontal cover or vertical cargo net) on the near side will not lock into the car. Nothing seems to be broken or missing.
Is there any adjustment in the left hand fitting where you slide the unit in place just behind the seats? macafee2 |

Compare the movement of the mechanisms, left and right. I sometimes have to release one of mine using a screwdriver: it may be that yours is not moving freely.
Good luck. |

I have taken the near side mount off the car, checked the load cover and cannot tell with any degree of certainty what the problem is so if anyone has any further ideas. I'd love to know.
The load cover catch seems to move up and down freely What does the metal pin at each end of the load cover do apart from compress into the load cover mounting? macafee2 |

Hmm, I just went out to check and I suspect the only purpose is to ensure the vertical position of the catch and release mechanism.
