Default Refurbishing a Power Steering Pump

Just removed my leaking power steering pump from my MGZT-T - Diesel 135.

Having difficulty finding an exact match for my pump QVB 000 330

Has anybody successfully rebuilt one of these with a seal kit, and are any special tools required?

Regards Larry

Have you tried DMGRS?

Hi Suzu - Yes I called them this morning. They don't have one for the ZT Diesel, only for the KV6 petrol models.
They also don't sell sealing kits, although looking at the pump it looks very difficult to see how you would open the pump up given it has no bolts or nuts to allow you to get into it.

Still searching but finding the QVB 000 330 model is proving difficult.

I could take a flyer and order an old used pump, but given the amount of effort involved in the job, I fear that would be counterproductive should the replacement part be faulty or fail soon after reassembly.

Ed, Thanks for the list, seen some of these.
The last two I think would be a risk.
On the first one - I was hoping not to pay as much as £180
the 2nd and 3rd states not compatible with my vehicle spec - which is strange as they show the 131 diesel in the list of compatible vehicles - I'll send each a message and try to get a better understanding of the compatibility.

I have vague feeling that different power steering pumps were fitted to early and late diesels.
May be someone can qualify this one way or the other.
