Good morning Freddie, over the years I been up to Norfolk several times for a jolly. Best enjoyed during the summer months, in an open topped sports car, seeing the sights and taking in the rugged coastline. Some pretty villages and waterways with those dykes and spotting Rover 75s along the way, lots to see and do

Hospital appointment couldn't have gone better. Diabetic clinic, doc well impressed by how I'm controlling things. He quoted some three month average figure (can't remember what he called it), 58 is good, I'm well under it at 52 which is excellent. As a result I'm starting metformin and, all being well, stopping the insulin.

A turning point for you Steve and with levels like that, it is encouraging for you. You are doing well?

I divert, my apologies but being a former train man you might find this story interesting. The new trains in Kenya are going down like a lump of lead.
