Had the same with a company a few years ago. Charged me £35 admin every time I changed my car. People who know me know I change my car as many times as Trikey changes his underpants so about 3 times a year!
I'm with direct line and they don't charge admin fees and I got a £5 refund when I swapped my car from a 2007 to a 2010 model with more power and worth double my old one lol!

The big, unanswered question is who is your insurance company so we can avoid them.

Andy.

I think it's actually BeWiser. I've heard of them.

I had an insurance company charge me to change an address on a policy with 4 weeks left to run on it (after telling me the renewal would be lower at the new address compared to the old address).
Needless to say the renewal didn't go to them.

Precisely the reason why I took out a traders policy 20 years ago, all the 'hidden' charges really annoy me.
