I have a couple of gold resistors spare, if it is just a resistor we should be able to sort something out.

If you do have to fit the resistor the front bumper off is so much easier than I thought. I've just replaced the headlights on my R75.

I reckon I could get the bumper off a second time in no more that 10 minutes.----

Many thanks to Chris for his work this evening. I have a 2nd programmed key and a gold resistor mod modded! And it was bloomin' cold.....he also identified 2 further probs. Shannon tube and faulty vis motor. Thanks once again.

Normally I don't think I've ever known you to make a mistake Brian. For a KV6 the correct temperature is of course ....

Hi again. Are vis motors plug & play? Do I need to order both?

I understand I will also need a Shannon tube...

Just to follow up from your visit,
Yes your Shannon tube needs replacing,
Also the Vis fault code was p1472, suggesting it is the power Vis motor that needs changing, this is the horizontal one.
