Default Problem with message centre???

Has anyone come across this problem? Apart from the lines, the displayed message becomes smaller and moves to the right of the panel?
Sorry, I don't know how to make the images bigger?

It's a bit of a mystery. Perhaps Rick Sta might have the answer.

On long journeys mine dims when it’s been on a while to the point it’s unreadable, had a new ipk fitted last week and this one does the same, leading me to believe it is not actually a problem with the ipk but the wiring or ecu??? 🤔

Nope it's an IPK fault Mark

I would suggest speaking to the person you bought that unit from

Brian

I have this with the Tourer mine also needs delining I assumed it was moved over due to the lines to a less damaged section i.e. the path of least resistance

Brian

Help me understand Brian, my old original ipk has done it for about 12 months or 18000 miles, it didn’t do it before that in the 5 years I have owned it, the display is bright and clear for about an hours driving then starts to dim, I find if I turn the display off for 20 mins while still driving then I get about another half hour of bright clear display, so what is the actual issue??? 🤔

Thanks in advance

Mark
