Petrol flap
Hi everyone just realised that when I lock my car I can still open the petrol flap.....is this normal? I have had two 75's previously but can't remember if the flap was locked when I locked the cars 🤔 somehow I think it should be locked when I lock the car!

there is a thread HERE You can verify the locking pin pops out correctly with the flap open, and lock the car.

In the link above there are a few suggestions if I recall on what to do next. I havent had experience of it, but if it was me I would pick a locking mech from a scrapped car and replace. But try lubricating it first.

Hi You made me curious about this I had to go outside and look. Mine does not lock either, the pin goes in and out with the remote but won’t engage with the flap. Rev |

Are you locking your car with the remote, or the key in the key hole?
The petrol flap is wired up with the deadlocks, not the normal locks, so unless you use the remote t doesn't lock. Chris

I believe, in my case, the fuse blew because the BBUS (alarm sounder) was faulty it caused it to fail. It cannot do any harm to check it out. This I believe the fuse number refers to the facelift fusebox (which going by your profile image, looks like yours is). I do recall though being at the fusebox, and finding the fuse was fine for what I was looking for at the time, so I pulled every fuse to check and found one that was blown. I cannot recall if it was for this problem or another problem, so if fuse 36 is OK, have a look at the other fuses to check.
