At 208,000 my 'Olive' is almost certainly the nearest V8 on the way there.
... but I'm now retired and not doing the miles, so I guess may never make it, at least not with me!

Heard tell of a car in Italy(?) that has over way over 500k miles on the clock, so probably already touched back down from the return trip and off to do it again!

Marinabrian T4'd a taxi once with nearly 600k on the clock, my old number 317 was on 180k when I sold it..

Probably would have been cheaper on fuel to go by rocket.

Maybe so, but I'd rather listen to the burble of a V8 rather than the uncooth racquet of a rocket motor!

There's a green 75 tourer being used as a taxi in Newtownabbey that has nearly 550k on the clock and still looks the dogs.
