Default Light duties for 'Marmite'

We've been thinking for a while about 'retiring' marmite from everyday use as it has worked hard all its life and been used for a purpose and done a brilliant job. My daughter will be learning to drive soon so we've been looking at a car that we can share whilst she learns but will be hers once she passes her test. Wanted something small with a big boot which doesn't exhist. We've just paid the deposit on a Mini Paceman which being a classic mini owner is kind of cool although I've always been slightly against them for not being 'real' mini's 7 weeks build time and then 'Marmite' can retire.
No Mini or BMW hate please

Originally I was not a lover of the 'new' mini when it came out, but over the years, they seem to have grown on me.

Parked next to a mini the other day, an it wasn't much smaller than my tourer. Oh well.

I'll have to find out what a Mini Paceman is now - Just found a few piccys...... Very Very Nice! - Just configured one.. Nearly £40k!

Well done Mark. Look forward to seeing the pictures.

I suppose MINI is now a marque as opposed to a model

was behind a Paceman yesterday, compared to the old mini's the rear is quite high. Looks a much bigger car, I take it your getting a new one?
what is the insurance going to be with her just passing her test and the main driver?

Myself and my wife will be the main drivers with my daughter insured as a learner

Nor me but like a lot of cars they have grown on me. Such as:
Ka
Allegro - the jury is still out
New Beetle
New Fiat 500
SD1 - <runs like hell>
I'm sure there are plenty more

Very nice indeed
I dread to think what that insurance quote comes to <tears in eyes>

No Mini or BMW hate here - it's the drivers that are the problem
