We went up to Blyth coastal town, stopped fish and chips then for a short walk along the beach front but it was so cold and started to rain so we came home and put the heating on.

Still haven't been able to speak to the relevant people in urology yet either
If you have any more appointments there (Bolton Royal Hospital), next time you can PM me. As I said, I can see it from my front door!

You can park at mine, I'll run you round - 5 minutes away - then you can call me when your done for pick up...

Thank you so much for the offer, I've sent my doctor another email to arrange the PSA blood tests at our local surgery as trying to get through on the phone is hard work as none of the phone options relate to my query & you get put through to other departments who have nothing to do with blood test appointments.

The last email from my doc said they have to be done in a timed sequence but the letter from Christies isn't clear as to when & how many I need
It's a bit late for that now as I'm over two months out from the Christies radiotherapy treatment.

I’ve seen the film once or twice , I know watching it a couple of years ago.
Did you ever go to Blyth beach, it’s about 1mile south of the town?
We were going to have a walk along the beach but it was really cold and the rain was starting, so a shorter walk was enough.

Can't honestly remember Rich. I do remember the coal staithes, the ferry (was on it with my grandad) and the less than perfumed odour(?) of the Tyne!

I've just seen a bit on the news about a ballet based on Black Sabbath . . . . I'll repeat that, a ballet based on Black Sabbath . . . . . . . . no I haven't been smoking anything "exotic"!

Thankfully, the weather stayed fine to do the aircon condensor on Spotty the Sportage. All the "knowledge" said that the bumper had to come off but with some careful screw removal and a bit of easing the grill out and off, It could be sorted easily from the top (not even keyhole surgery). Ice cold air con all ready for the summer (remember them?). The yellow fixings were easy to get at, the red ones needed some nifty manoeuvring! (small ratchet screwdriver)
