Spray and Shine
Has anyone else found spray and shine?
Its a cleaner for all the exterior of the car, you do not need to use a hose pipe, water, cleaner, wax Work on one panal at a time and the car will be in show room condition in just 30 mins Use 2 cloths one for wiping on and the other for polishing and it will polish up like a new car You can buy it for less than 20 quid on e bay and the shopping channels it cost a little more Owned the 75 for just over a week and have cleaned it 3 times so far |

Spray and shine
Forgot to say that it also removes birds mess and tar without any effort
My parents have a boat and they use it on that, they not even use it on the cars LOL |

Nay, Nay & Thrice Nay!
These wonder sprays might make the car look shiney initially. However, you will be causing swirl damage to the paintwork. By spraying the stuff on & rubbing with a cloth is like using a scouring powder. Have a look at the paintwork under a halogen light, or in bright sunlight - you'll see a myriad of swirls. They look like round/circular scratches. The only way you should wash/polish the car is using a hose, bucket, wash mitt, car shampoo & a towel to dry it off. Then use a decent polish, topped off with wax. This is what a bad case of swirl looks like: http://www.autoprocarcare.com/images...-services1.jpg

You could use cotton wool! Unless you get all the grit, gunge & grime off first by washing properly, then all you'll do is cause swirling.
Have a wander over to detailing world & look at some of the corrective work done to remedy swirls. Then, have a wander over to clean your car & have a look through the products - you'll not see these sprays. At the end of the day though, it's your car & you do what your happy & comfortable doing! I've spent a considerable wedge of cash on cleaning & polishing/waxing equipment & supplies, and spend too many hours a month on my car really, but it's what I like to do. If your not quite as anal as me and you're happy with the results...

i`ve tried on both my 75 and my tx4 that are not cheap new and have had no complaints, but i do admit to washing the vehicles first as a precaution against swirling, only an idiot would use any kind of polish on a vehicle that is covered in mud ect? at the end of the day you cannot really beat a good waxing with some kind of wax.

Cleaning with a cloth just rubs in the small particles.
I always wet the car and leave it for a few mins to soak into all the mud before giving it another soaking. Only then will I even start any physical contact with the car. (That sounds bad) I always start off softly but by the end I'm sweating. (Sounds even worse )
