V6 160 rear disks.....HELP......
Hi guys im about to buy some rear discs and pads for my beloved money pit,
BUT the ones im looking at are solid not vented. will they still fit ? (i know vented are better but times are tough and MOT is looming). Any advice is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You will have to stick with the same type as already fitted unfortunately, so if yours are vented that's what you will have to fit.

they will fit of course .but i wolud not recomend it as the solid ones are thiner so there is a chance of your brake pads becoming dislodged

thanks guys.
looks like just new pads at the back for now. The vented discs are out of my price at the mo, having had to replace two front tyres a windscreen and front discs and pads all this month. Oh well it never rains but pours lol

V6 160 rear disks
If you fit the solids, then you will have problems, as other have mentioned
why no go for something like these which are vented, and are very good http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/index.ph...ducts_id=21438 Stu |
