There are a litany of these cheap and nasty pumps around, a lot fail quickly, some I've seen leaking from the electrical connector, which allows diesel to wick through the wiring loom and end up in the fuel pump relay inside the passenger compartment fusebox

I bought a genuine pump TI Automotive, these are made in Belgium in the former Pierburg facility..........30,000 miles later it's still quiet, still delivering full pressure, and has not left me on the hard shoulder.

I wouldn't have an "OEM Q" pump given, never mind actually part with money for it.

Buy cheap and buy twice

I actually bought it to replace a TI Automotive pump I thought was the cause of a breakdown https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=297244

Will replace it with the one I removed as the noise is an annoying reminder of this 'schoolboy error' and when I am home for good (after this contract) I will be using the car regularly again and do not want to be waiting to be left stranded.
