Default Good Bye and Thank you all so much!!

Hello all,

It has been a while since i was last online. I wanted to post a good bye and thank you message before i say good bye to my beloved Rover 75.

Having spent many happy years behind the wheel in my 4th Rover 75 it is with a heavy heart that i have taken the decision to sell it and move on. My curent car needs far too much money spending on it now to make it viable to keep.

I have taken the plunge and purchased a brand new Peugeot 407sw. Collecting it next wednesday!!

So i wanted to thank the club for many wonderful years of membership and to you all for taking the time to help and support my ownership, the first thing i said when i signed for my new car was i will no longer have a Rover to be a member of the club!!

But as times change and Rovers get older and older i'm sure many more will make the difficult decision to part with your 75 or ZT, possibly not for a french car!!!

So again, a big thank you to you all, and a big thanks to Rob (trebor) and all the other members at the nano meets that helped fit my leather interior 12 months ago on a rainy cold winters days, i'm sure i will log on from time to time and you may even see me turn up to the next local meet to look at all the stunning Rovers and think to myself i had one of those once, don't worry i'll park the peugeot miles away!!

So best wishes to you all and i hope this wonderful club carries on for many many year.

Best Wishes

Andrew.

Hope you enjoyed your time in Rover ownership, my ownership hasn't started yet, but in time it will!
Enjoy the 407(?)

Yes eventually I'll part with the best car i've ever had. Shame MG Rover are no longer around. I've no idea what i'll replace her with... maybe a 3yr old XF

Strange comment from someone who doesn't own a 75 yet.
Even if they were badly made (which a few 1000 members on here will tell you they are not!).
Why do you want to own one then ?
