What can I say about the seascape?

I am speechless!
Many thanks Phil, nice comments mean so much to me,more so,from Guy's like yourself, whom I look up to for inspiration,as with the fantastic work you come up with.

Your wildlife photos are absolutely breathtaking & would like to emulate that quality some day.I still count myself as very much an amateur in this field,I know the overall quality of my pics are not really top drawer so to speak, but without sounding too big headed I think I am there with the composition, generally I seem know what I am looking for to make the picture complete, but am always open to suggestions to try & achieve even better results.

As for the Gull, well that was just pure luck, but then again, alot of photography can be purely just that on the day.I did not even see he was there,I was lining everything up to capture the reflections, when he appeared,as if right on cue, just as I was about to shoot, brilliant! I certainly feel he has made the shot what it is.

Again Phil, many thanks for your comments, hope to see you soon.

Best Regards.

John.

Two very different sea conditions taken 3 days apart, from the same vantage point overlooking Whitehaven Marina.

The 1st one shows very calm seas.

The 2nd showing quite a heavy sea running, due to the strong winds.

Best Regards.

John.

Great pics. If I had to choose I would take the 2nd one. It has a little more drama and I think the narrower field of view helps.

Great composition.

Many thanks for your kind comments Paul,I see what you mean, the second pic does it for me too with drama & atmosphere, but I think what I was trying to show was,how quickly the weather can change within a matter of a couple of days, once again Paul many thanks.

Best Regards.

John.

Another contrasting view from the same vantage point overlooking Whitehaven Marina, taken 1 week after the two views above & yet another change in weather pattern.

this time quite a heavy Sea Mist is blotting the view seaward completely, makes I think, for a very interesting shot.

Best Regards.

John.

Following a request from Paul,I found these pics taken a couple of winters ago, stormy seas lashing the outer Harbour sea wall Whitehaven, not quite the same spot as pics above but close enough.

Sorry for the poor quality, but was a very stormy, dull overcast day, with a lot of sea spray in the wind.

No,I don't think its the same Seagull as the one in an earlier shot ,lol.

Best Regards.

John.
