Interesting car. I looked at it and was offered it when it was in Ireland and was a bit of a mess but he has done a brilliant job with it, I could not get over to buy it.

It has had mostly new panels (donors) off a car (ZT I think) that was being broken in Uttoxeter. The others were just scratched etc so made sense to replace them with these I assume.

The premium bumper is also from a donor as the old one was knackered and had holes in from the police lights and if I recall the chrome grill was not great.

It had smokestone interior and the centre console has been changed as the old one had holes drilled in for the radio. Under the UK flag near the gear lever is a hole as again was drilled in.

There was no service history that I recall as the person in Ireland bought it off a government auction and was a bit neglected but I would imagine when in service it was well serviced.

This is the premium bumper man again, who keeps taking the cars off sale and relisting them

Interesting, has one of Seans double din units in it!

I do have photos from when it was for sale in Ireland as the seller sent me internal and external shots. If anyone is interested in these PM me with your email and I can forward them over.

Was just a bit scruffy so looks a lot better now, I assume the reason for the spoiler on the back is that the panel's donor car was a ZT

Wouldn't be so sure about that. Mine has a DD unit that's identical to a Navall but it ain't a Navall, functions are different, screens are different. I'm buggared if I can find out what it actually is, dare say there might be some identification on the rear but I can't be bothered taking out out!

Is it just the photos, or are some of the panel gaps a bit generous?

Also, how come the automatics manage to keep the cold air control for the vents?

I read recently that the Rover version kept the centre wheel, the V8 badge being placed lower down

I thought that, n/s headlight gap is huge, or is it the angle of photo?...
