No permanent live to head unit?
2004 facelift 75, standard cd head unit that was fitted to the 75's of this era.
Problem is if the car is left for a couple of hours or overnight it loses all its settings and goes back to factory mode. If I set all stations and bass/treble levels etc pop to the shops or use the car regularly during the day they will all stay saved, but leave the car overnight or for more than a few hours and everything will disappear. Any idea's? |

could it be possible that a previous owner had changed the stereo and swapped the wires over then forgot to put them back once they remove the other unit?

If it loses its memory it would also do it, when popping to the shops and turning ignition off? if it was not wired to a perm live feed.
Is the car battery good? and not draining down overnight? but enough to start it in the morning?... maybe it is wired to the Ignition live and not perm live?.... Jeff ( Coolcat is your man to ask ) |
