Just to throw a spanner in the works .....
My father's CDTi Auto had management lamp on permanently. T4 fault codes were Low Fuel pressure Maf sensor Only a new Airmass flow meter cured the situation.

Sorry GG yes it has. I know what to look at thanks to Keith's work last time.
It took another 1,000+ miles to come back. Will sort when I return home at end of Weekend. |

Well over a month now without a recurrence following a little judicious prodding of the wiring near the said sensor.
How lucky is that? |

My MIL lamp came on breifly when i had just refueled at a well known supermarket.
The garage scanned the system but nothing showed up. He did say that he had come across a few instances when people had refueled in places that had low tanks and all the crud in the tanks had got transferred in the cars fuel tank and this causes a fuel pressure issue by clogging up the fuel filter. Anyway, to be on the safe side i replaced the fuel filter and all was well. Dont know if this was the cause but it seemed to go off and not come back on. Thought this might help as its not been mentioned. |
