I'm not saying Torx 50's won't work, i used one when i first changed seats, just that Torx plus fit without slipping & i've never disconnected the battery in 5 seat changes, no point

Torx ? Tool For seat Removal
All of the quotes make good sense and all that I would add to help is to ensure the cavity of the bolt head is free from debris then a sharp tap before undoing. And with this info you should be ok. Did you get your parking brake and stat sorted out?
Hope this helps. Cheers. Last edited by RogerHeinz57; 27th August 2014 at 23:24.. Reason: typos (many) lol..... |

Hi JohnH
How you doing matey. Regards H/Brake & Thermostat. No . H/Brake holding reasonably well at the mo, whilst I find someone I can trust to do it properly. I'm looking for a different garage than the one I have been using. Same Issue with Thermostat. Still have Kaiser's thermostat waiting to go on. Love to be able to do it myself, but that's a no no. The absolute size is Ribe 8, but a Torx 50 wiill fit the socket. However, any socket strains and a T50 could damage it. A Ribe 8 won't fit a Torx 50 socket though.

there is torx 50 and torx 50 plus. I posted the same question a couple of weeks ago and was advised it is torx 50 plus.
I'm thinking of getting this one but have been offered the loan of a bit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2212643774...84.m1436.l2649 macafee2 |
