Default ZT-T 190 Exhaust

After an exhaust system including catalytic converter as mine is broken, rattling and seems o be tripping the sensor intermittently, as well as making a horrible noise.
Also, mine is fitted with a sports exhaust minus bafflers and I just cannot cope with the noise.

Thanks

Paul

Lol.
I just took a new sports stainless off my 190 ZT-T for the exact same reason. I replaced it with a new standard exhaust, but even that is much noiser than my MG V8 and not the level of quiet I was hoping for. I feel my tourer has a definite resonance of it's own, especially at around 2k revs under load in 4th or 5th, so I've bought some 'Roadkill' adhesive panel damping with a view to hopefully effective strategic placement. Wonder if anyone else has experience with this?

Yea, the booming around 2000 revs just sends my ear drums vibrating badly.
My previous ZT-Ts were always quiet and smooth.
On this there is a sports exhaust backbox plus all mufflers removed so its a straight through system. Probably gives it fractional speed improvement for plenty of driver pain!
Personally, I like smooth quiet speed.
Then of course the damned Cat has broken up and rattles just to top it off, so hen its not booming, its rattling! Help.
