I take it that the pipe can't be changed in situ and that the existing unit + pipe will need to be removed, changed over, then refitted through the bulkhead/plenum?

Unfortunately due to the cost of bringing them in, we've had to price them at £49.99 - however this is still a significant saving on all other current options.
Matt , just looked at your site . To clarify , were these originally stored with pipework and filled with fluid or were they stored without and dry ?

You can do it with the pipework in place if you wish, but it will be much easier with it off the car. It's up to you
I've added this to the product description to help others - thank you.

Edit: Ignore my last answer. We've had a couple of emails requesting the units are posted with fluid and pipework in tact, so we'll be doing this and I've updated the product page accordingly.

Ideal if you're wanting to keep it on the shelf for a while before fitting, so the seals don't dry out.

Matt. I'm in hospital so could you put one aside for me please? I'll try and order but have not got my wallet here. Thanks.

No problem at all - we have a lot coming in, so there's no panic.

I've just ordered one. Dyslexia is now getting the better of me. 2 or 3 times I've re-read this thread looking for the instructions on how to swop the pipe work over. I'll be dammed if I can find it. Matt, can you include the instructions when you post the cylinder out.

cheers

Hello Ian,
I'll do a proper write up shortly and include it on the product page.

Here's the current short version:
Fitting your existing pipework is very simple - remove the split pin and roll pin holding the pipe to the back of your original item, then pop the pipe into the new part and secure with the roll pin and split pin.
This is very simple, needs no special tools, and should take no more than 15 minutes. The pipework can be swapped in situ - no need to remove anything other than the Master Cylinder itself.

You will need to bleed the system once fitted - we recommend flushing the entire system out with at least 250ml of fluid to remove all traces of rubber particles and old fluid from the pipework and Slave Cylinder. You can add 250ml of Genuine TRW fluid (DOT 4, compatible with originally specified DOT 3).

I've just heard that these have been delivered - I'm still away, but I'll be sending them all out on Friday.
Going to be a busy day - you guys and girls have ordered 53 between you all! Thank you.

Just had another box of these dropped off, they seem pretty popular at the moment!
Thanks for your orders
