Default Spray Windscreen Washer Nozzles

Fitted the bmw spray nozzles to replace the jet nozzles at the weekend. Easy mod and an improvement but not a great improvement over the jets. Put pictures on my blog at ...... https://mgzt.info/2021/03/06/mg-zt-w...er-conversion/

I think I remember seeing posts about some ford washer jets that fit our cars with the spray. Can't remember what model they're from and not sure if they're available heated either.

Ford jets are much better than the standard MGR ones. Water comes out as a mist that the covers the screen rather than the "garden hose" OEM ones.

Is there any difference in the performance of the Ford ones over the BMW ones?

Keen to try the mod and obviously keen to know which needs less modification to fit.

They both (Ford/BMW) fit the holes in the bonnet perfectly.

Ford ones use smaller bore pipe work, so that needs modifying when fitting the Ford jets.

BMW use the same bore pipe work as the 75/ZT and are therefore an easier direct fit.

Performance is pretty much the same one you've got them fitted.

The BMW ones also use the same electrical plug for the heaters as our cars.

BMW need longer 5mm ID hoses due to the different angle of inlet connection ...... see https://mgzt.info/2021/03/06/mg-zt-w...er-conversion/
