Default Central Locking

Are there any known common causes for failed central locking?

Yes the inner door lock actuator wears out and fails pretty easy to replace

If no doors open with the fob try the battery in the fob

Cheers, the problem is on a car I have been offered. I currently have a diesel saloon (new one is a tourer) that can donate parts if necessary.
