14 1/2 years for me and coming up to 20 years of owning Rover 75's . I remember the day we went out looking for a nice car and I fancied a Jaguar S type 3.0 but the wife had seen a Rover 75 on the road and said she thought they looked nice. We tossed a coin and the Rover dealer at Boldon ( now a BMW dealer) won . We went there first and I road tested a dealer launch Wedgwood Connie 2.5 V6 and I was smitten. I've never driven an S type to this day ! I now have a tourer and a saloon and they have been so reliable that my best friend now drives a Firefrost mk 2 and his daughter has a raven black mk 1 tourer !
I used to enjoy the Metrocentre monthly meetings with Richard , Trikey, Marinabrian , Mofo ,Colin 2 diesels, big lek , G20stu and many others that I enjoyed the company of. Membership number 101 Last edited by patrolman pete; 5th April 2021 at 16:52.. Reason: Spelling and more info added |

A mere babe in arms me - at coming up to 4 years in June.
Set out looking for a comfortable mile muncher to visit our sons up in the North East. Rover was never on my radar but reviews about comfort saw them appear regularly. And, as they say. the rest is history. Thanks to all the wonderful folks on here with hints and How to's and to the friends I've made. Long may it continue. |

10 years 2 months for me, have made many friends for life through this club. Haven't been overly active on here recently but am now back in ownership so I shall be participating rather more again.

Just over 14 years for me and three 75 tourers. The first was a Royal Blue MK1 1800 turbo (Car of the show at the 2007 National day) this was followed by a Silver MK2 1800 nasp and then the current car we still have which also won car of the show at the 2019 National day. Privileged to have seen the club from both sides and help it through some difficult times which thankfully seem to have disappeared. Still kicking about although not as active as I used to be.
