Good luck with the new job John. Understandable you need reliable transport - if mine starts letting me down big time I'll be getting something more suitable for work too.

Default I get it.

I understand many posters that need a reliable car to replace a 75 or a ZT, I'm mostly done with 75 ownership but, my car has to find a good home or it stays with me somehow. I'm keeping my ZT until I'm very old (55 yesterday) It will be part of my old age in some way and kept in show condition. I see the drop off in ownership and how many people post here on any given day, it's really dropped away over the last few years. I think that because of the current low values, if you have a spare space for a car, just put one of the 75's or ZT's away for the coming years. I'm sure that the time will come when they will be celebrated as one of the most beautiful classic cars ever made.

Cheers Mike. The car is a fine machine but stuff was getting old. Alternator failled after 18 years service.
