Default Which tyres to fit where ????

Winter is approaching, the Zed needs two front tyres now and rears in about 6 to 8 months I'd guess.

I have a daily 12 mile each way commute to work with some moderate hills and downward slopes that can cause problems in snow and icy conditions. As front line NHS I need to get to work if at all possible.

A set of winter tyred wheels is really not a viable option for the amount of time I'd really need them, and for the expense involved in buying 4 specialised 18inch tyres and a set of alloy rims.

I've decided to give cross climates a go.

As I'm going to fit 2 now and two more when my current rears reach 2mm should I put the new cross climates on the front (drive) or the rear wheels.

Also opinions on cross climates ????

Thanks.
