Set out to clean up brakes but took one off and they’re fairly fubar, so full set ordered from DMGRS
Hopefully be here / done by weekend
Noticed armrest coming apart so fixed that
Any known fixes for the latch? Does nothing on mine

Changed both front struts, springs and top bearings on 75 tourer, pothole claimed a tyre and burst N/S shock absorber, winter tyre a new one in October. Now to do get a claim in to council for costs, envisage a fight for payment

Reverse bleed of the clutch on my MK2 ZT-T CDTI named "Nigel", the morning after arms and wrist are still very sore. Happy with result all gears are smooth to get into unlike before but not looking forward to the next one.

Decided to have a look at armrest catch
Bit of a pita to do (for no real gain but it’s always bugged me!)
Pics show hidden screw under foam to release pad
Pivot points completely broken on catch
Did try making bracket etc but that ended up in the way of the catches function
So went for KISS method, bit of bolt and cable ties
Had a look at hinge / mounting bracket. That was bent and broken so straightened. If my welding skills were up to it I’d have welded bit that was broken but on a good day I can only manage something that looks like pigeon NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-

Still didn’t catch fully - it does now!

New Zr calipers came , and a quick comparison shows they are 8mm wider and are for the Larger engined Zr's with ventilated discs. messaged seller who agrees they are wrong , but wants me to pay for the returns as Its my fault for not asking if they are the right ones ? .

The Advert specifically says for the 105 , and since I queried it all they've added " For ventilated 261mm Disc models" .. but still says Zr 105 , which never had them ? , Only the Streetwise ever had vented 261 discs and they are not mentioned in the advert

After last weeks refurb of the headlamps on the Connie, thanks to my economical use of the kit , I was able to do the same to the tourer so she now has sparkling eyes too. Whilst doing so, my parcel arrived from DMGR Spares containing two of the uprated rear suspension arms so that's very much a job for later in the year due to me recovering from long covid .
