Crackin' pics them are Steve. I thought it's been quiet this afternoon with no starlings squabbling amongst themselves around the feeders! the suet ball feeders are empty.

Never get starlings here. Used to have them at the old house but not sure if I've ever seen one here. Used to get a line of them working their way across the lawn like a Police forensic search team.

Great pics Steve, we get bluetits, crows, a pair of robins and a couple of woodpeckers.

Managed a bad phone pic of the woodpecker on the feeder the other day.

We get a great selection, Great, Coal, Blue and Long Tail T1ts; House and Tree Sparrows, Siskins, Goldfinches, Greenfinches, Chaffinches, Bullfinches, Blackbirds, Woodpecker, occasionally a Jay (very difficult to photograph). On the annoying side, Magpies, Pigeons and occasionally Crows. Oh, and after dusk field mice cleaning up under the feeders.

We now have 6 crows that can empty a bird feeder in minutes! That and a rather large mouse type thing with a long tail that is fond of peanuts...

Our feeders are protected by an anti climb inverted dome and all but one of the feeders are the caged squirrel proof type. Still doesn't stop acrobatic pigeons and magpies swinging around on them trying to get at the seeds.

Add squirrels to the "annoying list" but if one appears you only have to say "squirrel" to Pops and she hurtles out the door to chase it

We did have a problem with "long tails" coming in from the mining museum next door until I reduced the numbers with the air rifle, very rarely see one now.

Squirrels.. The only furry creature that Meg goes bonkers for, shes not bothered about birds, rabbits, deer etc.. but a squirrel sends her mental.

We get a kestrel makes a high speed circuit of the garden now and then. My wife's suggestion was to chase it, chase it! By the time I spot it it's gone!
